Intergenerational Economics and the ‘Jilted Generation’

Some say the baby boomers have bankrupted the youth of Britain. That ever-spiralling house prices put home ownership only in the hands of the well-off with access to the ‘Bank of Mum and Dad’. And that young people, rising costs, high rents and repayment of student loans mean they are not able to save for pensions and may not be able to contribute to the welfare state.
